Every dog and every case is unique. Ultimately, you will want to find the lowest dosage needed to control bleeding. For some dogs this will be 1 capsule every few days, for others it may be 4 capsules, 4 times a day. Yunnan Baiyao should be taken under consult of a veterinarian.

Can Yunnan Baiyao cause diarrhea?

Signs of dehydration can be a side effect of Yunnan Baiyao and indicative that the current dosage may be too high. Signs of dehydration in dogs include diarrhea, frequent urination, drinking more water than usual, and cracked nose or paws.
